CONTENT MANAGERS
You're in charge of running our social media, which consists of our Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as our website. Your task is achieve a wider outreach on Virginia Tech's campus, including managing flyer distribution. You're comfortable managing socials, and will work very closely with our content designers.

CONTENT DESIGNERS
You're responsible for creating all our promotional content, which includes (but is not limited to): social media posts, event flyers, submission campaign material, merchandise, website design, etc. You're creative and familiar with socials!

MAGAZINE DESIGNERS
You're responsible for the magazine layout. You're a creative individual with a comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign. (Candidates without Adobe Creative Suite knowledge will be considered, but it is highly recommended.) You're excellent with deadlines and working in a team.

BLOGGERS
You'll write once-monthly posts for Silhouette's blog. You will have creative liberty to write about your passions, experiences, and creative events happening on Virginia Tech's campus. The goal of our blog is to engage students with weekly content relevant to their college experience. Low commitment, high freedom!

BLOG EDITORS
You'll do basic technical editing on the blog posts submitted by our bloggers, and be responsible for posting them to Silhouette's website. A couple of times a week, throughout the entire academic year.

PHOTOGRAPHY EDITORS
You're in charge of campaigning for submissions and selecting the highest quality photos to be featured in the magazine. You should have background knowledge in different photographic techniques and styles.

​
ART & DESIGN EDITORS
You're in charge of campaigning for submissions and selecting the highest quality art and design pieces to be featured in the magazine. You should have background knowledge in different art and design techniques and styles.

​
PROSE EDITORS
You're in charge of campaigning for submissions and selecting the highest quality writings to be featured in the magazine. You should have background knowledge in different prose styles and techniques.
POETRY EDITORS
You're in charge of campaigning for submissions and selecting the highest quality poems to be featured in the magazine. You should have background knowledge in different poetic styles and techniques and be prepared to read a high volume of submissions, as this is one of our most popular categories.

SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR
You're in charge of planning and executing events related to the magazine, including (but not limited to): open mic nights, magazine sales, and launch parties. You will work closely with the business manager and editor-in-chief and should be organized and confident in your ability to plan engaging events. Experience running sound is a plus!
