The Worst Super Bowl Halftime Show Ever?

Like many (maybe?) others, I was only interested in the Super Bowl because of the halftime show. But, this year, the show was not what I was hoping for. In years past, we have had amazing performances from Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and even last year, Justin Timberlake was amazing. This year, when Adam Levine started to sing his first song, I knew it was not going to go down as one of the best performances. He was off pitch and not very entertaining. The most exciting part was when he tore off his shirt. I was hoping to have more of a ‘wow’ factor like Lady Gaga had when she jumped off the stadium or the choreography Beyonce had.

Personally, I thought the best part of the show was when Spongebob’s interlude. On the Wiki page for halftime performances, Spongebob is listed as part of the show for 2019 which is better than Maroon 5 headlining. I was also hoping that Travis Scott would propose to Kylie Jenner during his performance, but that was another let down. Travis’s performance was only one song, and it was not terrible. What was terrible however, was his outfit. Travis and Adam both had the most hideous outfit on; I am not sure who dressed them, but they should be fired.

Overall, I give this halftime performance a solid 3/10.
